Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront

Team I AM SARAH EDWARDS travels! We hopped over to Chicago for a quick business trip and stayed at the Wyndham Grand Hotel Chicago Riverfront. This sophisticated hotel is located in the heart of downtown Chicago, along the iconic Chicago river and close to all must-see attractions. A quick walk to Millenium Park, the best-broccoli-you’ll-ever-eat at The Purple Pig, and endless shopping down the Magnificent Mile, we couldn’t have asked for a more ideal location!

We started our experience at the Wyndham with lunch at the hotel restaurant, Hoyt’s American Tavern. We couldn’t resist the spinach artichoke dip, chips and salsa and the fresh salads -- and a tall glass of house Chardonnay! It’s never too early for wine! We then went up to our room, and were surprised by a cheese tray, which was just a small taste of Wyndham’s hospitality. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite, with a large, open living room, spacious bedroom, three closets (think, WALK-IN)  and a killer view! As millennials always on the go, our suite was the perfect place to transition from business calls, to a large dressing room, to a sleek and comfortable space to enjoy drinks at the end of the night!

The Wyndham was also located very close to WeWork locations in downtown Chicago. Being a member of WeWork has made traveling during the work week so much easier because I can office in all major cities. There were a total of 6 WeWorks in Chicago (wow!). We spent our second day office-ing out of the location on Kenzie street. With its rooftop terrace, endless beverage options and eclectic decor, it was just as beautiful as my home base in Minneapolis!

Though our trip to Chicago was short, our stay at the Wyndham makes us want to keep coming back!
